Its a fact he did fight the champion and lose after that he never got a rematch 1.because of being black and 2 because the champ knew he was going to lose.

dnt know nothing about walker smith but this is about sam langford not him so its rearly irrelevent.
Also sam langford was a great heavy wieght he was like a mini tyson only 5ft 6 he had the power of foreman and alot of great abilitys it is a shame hes broke and blind after before dieing.
