" I didn't really have a challenge when I had all the titles, but it looks like the competition is now heating up."
Yeah right... You ducked, Vargas, me and Mr. "Lag" Boon big time. We only did few and it was pretty much even steven. I was away for most of the time during your last hurrah so your challengers were Vargas and Boon and you ducked both of them.

Unbeaten is not me and yes the guy is apparently skilled enough to completely destroy you Reaper.
Only reason I even came back to OB2D was just to get change to box him as I expected to get a good match out of him. Well now the novelty is gone, even Skillz (as rusty as Skillz is) defeated him. Vargas completely destroyed the guy.

This whole thread is totally pointless.
Only reason Vargas does not have all titles yet is because of Redneck and Mr. Unbeaten (better known as beaten) ducking Vargas.
I even went as far as giving my title to Vargas for free due to not having time to be on to defend regularly and now I see this...

What's the status of P4P clan Skillz?

We never really got to see this which is a shame.
HTF never really trained and never really fought Fatny with everything he got.

My advice for you is to play both.
OB2D is the present game with rankings and titles to be won. Most of the people play OB2D. Since the game is old most people are very experienced and level of skill is high. It if fun but also hard.
OB3D is the future. That being said it is still under development and has very small player base. There are no skins, rankings or titles to be won yet. Still you can go and play the game and I suggest you do it as if you do you will have edge over others when OB3D finally "opens" with rankings and titles.

Sorry Boon I have been ignoring you as I already wrote a huge reply after Larry asked me to. You can go and read it, watch the matches all recent enough to hold importance in this matter.
I can not beat Vargas or Bear with ease and have never written or said anything like that. Stop making stuff up.
Regarding others it comes down to styles match up.

"No offense bro, but how come you don't just create one ID and establish yourself in this game? Are you afraid that you'll lose more than win? Do you just not have the time to play consistently?"
None taken. First time I played this game was years ago. I did a google search and ended up clicking OB website. I logged on and created a boxer.
I still remember that day. HTF was online, Larry was online and in general everyone online was really good. Not that it mattered as little did I know and I had boxed zero matches. I got totally owned and it seemed just impossible to beat anyone.
I came back about 6 months later and started to play, took my losses and tried to improve. My goal was to win a title just once. It seemed almost impossible as everyone else was so good compared to me. I kept playing and then finally won my first title.
Now I needed a new goal. I set to my goal to dub real life record of Rocky Marciano the boxer. It was hard. In fact it took me a good while but I finally managed to do it.
Again I needed a new goal. I set it to achieve 100-0 record without ducking anyone. I had a chat with Fatny about it and he said it is impossible. I decided to try anyway. Well I got quite close few times but have never really managed it. Fatny made sure I kept failing So each time I lost before reaching my goal I made new alt and have been making new alts.
Each of us have our own goals and motivators. Some people care about winning titles, someone else may care about his KO ratio (Red Viper for example) and some people want to make it to HOF. I dont care about establishing myself in this game and making it to HOF. For me my goal is to make 100-0 without ducking anyone. I do have to say that it does look near impossible like Fatny said.
So that is my reason. I do not know why Vargas and others create new alts.
Regarding 4 rounders I can assure you I absolutely hate 4 rounders. It really is a pain to make it past 4 rounders to "safer" territory. Even one KD in 4 rounders can be a disaster and since stamina is of no issue in 4 rounders it is possible for people to slug spam extremely hard without any remorse.
"From what I remember, you've always had the skills to compete at the top, so why not just fight regularly on one ID until it all clicks for you?"
With all respect I do have to disagree with this. I feel I have been able to hang with really skilled people for a good while and make the match enjoyable for them but it's only during last four months that winning against even the most skilled people has become realistic and viable option for me.
"Do you just not have the time to play consistently? "
I really do think that for me this is one of the biggest issues. Peak time for OB is rather late, at least for me. With most skilled players like Black Bear retiring and other like you Salvador either rarely logging on or logging on at different time than I do it's hard to find those really really tough matches that make me feel like I got lucky if I manage to win.
Between work, University, BJJ/wrestling training and my gf there is only so little time to spend for OB. "Lucky" thing is that I have flu at the moment and little bit fever so I have to stay home.... OB time.

Here is my opinion regarding HOF in general:
People in the HOF are insane good at this game. They all are. I suppose I am pretty good at this game now. For sure I am not the best but I really can hold my own. Yet these members of HOF pass by every now and then and give me super though match despite just having returned and perhaps lacking little in timing due to not having played.
Even more impressing in my opinion is how members of HOF seem to be able to analyze styles and come up with a alternative strategy to win rather quickly. For example I won few against some of the very best members of HOF. Well each of them individually came back after half a week or so with completely new strategy and style to counter mine and I got seriously outpointed BAD in a way that I feel is hard to crack. HOFfers just have too much experience.

First I thought it was just my problem (connection or windows Vista related) but apparently it is not as others have been experiencing strange massive skip lag too.
Maybe there is some issue with the server. John and COCO can verify this too.
