So Reaper is allowed to play again and IMMEDIATELY results to cheating again.

So did TKO box Tyrant yet or has he given up?
"Yes but people overlook things like the fact that he has two arms, two legs and a jaw just like the other guy. There is no such thing as unknockable/beatable (spelling?) and to think that a big guy like that didn't have a chance to win is just well stupid in my opinion and anyone that thinks he couldn't of won that fight is a dumbass and needs to wake up.

I'm not disputing what you are saying Rocky incase you read it wrong I'm not calling you a dumbass, what I'm saying is that both fighters had an equal chance as they equally suck. "

You obviously misunderstood what I mean. What I am saying is that it was a match between an unskilled wanna be MMA fighter vs. another unskilled wanna be MMA fighter. In my honest opinion they are both relatively unskilled wanna be MMA fighters. So the match was fair and both had about equal change to win. We seem to think the same about this (?).

Now above being said I do want and wish to see Kevin Ferguson better known as Kimbo Slice fight an established MMA fighter with real skill sets. Reason for this is his "street record" and the hype wave he came to MMA with.

MMA is a real sport just like boxing is and there is a need to show to general public that random tough guys like Kimbo have no business to step into the ring against legit opponent instead matching him up with just not just another wanna be MMA fighter random tough guy like his last opponent is.

Problem with the above is that he is really training hard and trying to accuire legit skills and is building his career carefully instead of jumping to the pool with "sharks" so to say. There is nothing wrong with that.

I just hate the way he is presented and hate what he represents.
"You've gotta give Kimbo credit though for actually going into MMA where he will get a challenge rather than kicking fuck out of unskilled wannabe gangbangers."

Well now Kimbo is "kicking" the fuck out of unskilled wannabe MMA fighters. However this is exactly what he should be doing at this point of his career as he himself is still unskilled wannabe MMA fighter.

James "The Colossus" got what he deserved. This being said there were moment that did look like ref was trying to "protect" Kimbos record. Then again what do you expect from an organization like Elite XC, being run by BOXING promoter... Enough said.

"He did well, the other dude is a big trained guy and would kick all our arses in about ten seconds (so would Kimbo!). Being trapped underneath him and taking all those shots didn't make me think he had a weak chin it made me think "damn thats a hard head".

The other dude is unskilled wannabe MMA fighter who is out there getting fight contracts just because he is big, ripped and looks "scary". In reality he has no ground skills (really he does not even have basic skills), his striking is so so, his takedown and throwing skills do not exist, he is known to have so called glass jaw.

I have nothing against Kimbo Slice at all. This is just the truth.

Kimbo Slice (Kevin Ferguson, his real name) is training hard with well respected people. He has fought people with similar skill level - people with no skill and this is exactly what he should be doing at this point of his career. His toughest opponent so far is Tank and Tank has a losing record of 9-14 having lost against ever single opponent with at least some skill.

There are several things that worry me about his career:

1. He is up there in age so he simply put does not have time to build up skills gradually before facing upper level fighters for serious money.

2. Although he does train hard it seems he is not learning new skills that fast. Despite training really hard with some really good teachers/trainers his ground skills and grappling skills over all still basically suck.

From what I see he has two options:

He can either continue facing relatively unskilled opponents kicking the hell out of them in an effort to make some medium good $$$$$$

or

He can go after the REAL MONEY, get a multiple fight contract leading to a possible title shot and get his sorry ass kicked out of this solar system by some upper level MMA fighter way before he even reaches that title shot.

Ps. BJ Penn would tap Kimbo 10 times out of 10.
Professor wrote:LOL. Also funny how Oscar and Rocky are the ones making these claims when they have been around as long as I've had hair on my balls. Fatny was starting out when I came around. Matter of fact my first fight I ever watched was Fatny vs Labratory.

"Donny dont u think somethin is fishy here....it hasnt been updated because Fatny is already a HOF member...."

The first time this particular question about Fatny in HOF came up was approximately one year ago. It has been discussed multiple times... and yet his name has not been added to HOF. Since Mikkel has had all the time in the world to update HOF and add Fatny there (really 1 whole year should be enough, should it not (busy or not)?) logical conclusion is that Fatny is already in the HOF with some other name/alt.
Fatny will never be in the HOF as Fatny as he is already in HOF with some other name... I believe it to be so.

"Great Job, GoldenBoy. I'd like to see pictures of Rocky's matches. I assume he has had a few good matches?

War Josh!!!!!"

No way in hell. I only do grappling matches (Judo, wrestling, BJJ, submission wrestling) be is amateur of pro level of grappling competition. I am not stepping into the ring to do MMA because they dont pay well enough to even cover insurance fees (even starting out in UFC you only get like 5000 dollars per match although it goes way up quick if you win and prove to be good draw) and if anything MMA is a risky business. You can make so very good $$$ but it is way risky business.

I even dislike submission wrestling a bit just because rules allow heel hooks and there is a reason Judo and BJJ have banned heel hooks (you dont feel pain before damage is done and heel hooks put stress on knee against natural movement of that joint... breaks things too easily. Compare that to arm bars where pressure is put along the natural movement of elbow joint - much safer and way easier to regulate pressure and opponent has time to tap.)

I only train grappling with strikes for self defense reasons (to tweak my grappling technique to take into account opponent that punches) and out of fun. Yeah I roll with some MMA fighters and teach them some ground grappling but that is it for me when it comes to MMA. I like watching it

I know my grappling be it with punches or not but when it comes to stand up striking I am NOB, NEWBIE, NOOB and will remain so.

Maybe some else has solution to that.
Powerlifters, bodybuilders and whatever are strong and definately stronger than the average Joe. However in my experience it is all about pratical application of this power. People who go to gym and train powerlifting etc. have lto of strenght in those exact line of motions they train/lift. Outside that specific line of motion their ability to produce force drops significantly. It has something (a lot) to do with nerve system.

Wrestling strenght for example is whole another thing from gym strenght. A guy weigting significantly less can have far more pure "wrestling strenght" than a guy who is lot bigger. In wrestling people are always pushing their muscles to the extreme in odd angles via all kind of lines of motion twisting using whole posterior muscle chain.

Good example of this is Alexander Karelin (I suppose everyone has heard of him.) Alexander Karelin is by far the strongest wrestler ever in terms of strenght. Yet when he participated in world strongest man type of competition, just for the fun of it, he did poorly being unable to finish several of the things they do in those type of competitions. Yet having wrestled a bit for the show and out of fun with those same strongmen guys Karelin commented that they felt physically weak on the mat. He tossed them around like he would toss around a kid.

Now what bodybuilder, powerlifters etc. have going on for themself is pure size/mass. All that mass is hard to move around when it comes to grappling. Since F=ma it also gives them edge in punching. A big guy may punch somewhat slow put you can bet that if he hits it is going to hurt due to mass being a factor in producing force and then there is the equation of impact.

Hmm lets see...

if m= mass the puncher is able to put behind his punch (note! with better technique one can put more body mass behind a punch)

v= speed of the punch

we get momentum for the punch which is p=mv

Now person being punched is an object that has momentum (which is zero) as he is not moving. Punch also has a momentum. Now since he is being punched and change in momentum of an object is equal to the force applied to it multiplied by the time over which it was applied we get impulse which is change in momentum. The punch itself goes trough change in momentum from full momentum to zero.

Impulse = Force x Time

The punch itself goes trough change in momentum from full momentum to zero. For this reason the change in momentum is equal to the final momentum:

Force x Time = mv

ma x t = mv |:t

ma = (mv)/t

F= (mv)/t

Force = impulse/time

force (in Newtons) = (mass (in kg) x velocity (in m/s) / time (in seconds)

So according to the equation the more mass punch has "behind" it the harder the punch is and the more speed punch has the harder the punch is. So a FAST punch with WHOLE BODYWEIGHT behind it should be strongest punch according to this equation.

However I am having a sligth WTF moment here. Lets take a look at teh final equation which is F=(mv)/t . Now according to this equation the smaller the time punch contacts opponent the harder the punch is. IN other words the more of a PUSHING kind of movement punch is the less force it produces. Snappy whiplike punch is harder.

HOWEVER this is where the WTF moment comes into play because the longer time force is applied to a system the greater.. well something

If we apply a force to the system, it changes the momentum P= ft, In classical mechanics, momentum is the product of the mass and velocity of an object p=mv

in this case... uh I am too tired for this now and dont know what is it but something is bugging me about this related to the time punch makes contact to opponents face.

Seriously Yacoob you seem to have ability to produce massive amount of text about tinyes thing there is so you really should go write a book.
I suppose Mikkel is busy with 3D. No offence meant towards anyone but Fatny is the only one defending his title like goldenboy wrote. He gives shots but rest of us just can not beat him
Kimbo got already beat by a guy who could not make it in UFC.

(Sean Gannon an amateur MMA fighter and police officer beat Kimbo Slice in a challenge bare knuckle boxing match. After that Sean got bit famous and was given his break in the UFC. Needlessly to say he never had a change in the first place...).

But then again this was all before Kimbo started training in FFA. Now he is training hard in legit MMA gym with Bas Rutten and the Avellan brothers.
Nice pictures and a good match I assume.

Must be hard as hell to pass the half-guard with those shinpads on (? or if those are slippery it is the opposite). Certain other positions too. As fas as submission go Go-go plata is no go with those shin guards and most likely reverse triangle choke too. I suppose those shin guards really get in a way in all kind of positions.

In what weight class do you compete in and how much was the weight difference?
"Rocky when are you usually on?"

Around 07.00 pm GMT

which is 03.00 pm EST
