i give Calzaghe his credit because he fought a smart fight which he does everytime he steps into the ring..
He starts careful feeling out his opponent,planning for the later rounds..which is when he unloads his barrage of punches,effectively doing simultaneous damage and scoring round after round.

Although Mikkel he has fought Bernard Hopkins and Mikkel Kessler
you cant say tht Hopkins is past his prime really because hes still decisively taking out quality opponents because of his ring smarts and experience.
Kessler,a great quality fighter taking apart his opponents up to Calzaghe who BEAT him.
